Looking Back at Phase 1 and 2, I realized I wasn't a big Fan.

With that in mind I decided to restructure my layout, to something more understandable.  When I think of a bunker and how it feels, I think cramped, cold, survival being the main idea.  The original layout felt too open, and spacious, not quite the feeling I was going for, for the project.  So I decided to rework the floor plans of the bunker.

The idea behind this little bunker is to make you feel like you are truly underground, keeping to yourself.  It's got a little bit of home in it, but it has all the making of someone who is trying to survive.

When it comes to survival, one of the best ways to make sure you stay alive is a safe place to sleep.  When it comes to our little underground home, I decide on a nice sturdy door, made of pure metal to prevent anyone from blowing it open or shooting their way in.  The Idea behind it was similar to a door in a submarine, where if closed it could easily keep out water if there was a leak.

Now that security was taken care of, we needed to design our inside.  Originally we didn't want it to feel like it was a home, but even with survival eventually, even a bunker will bring comfort to its user.

With the table made, the next thing to follow was to add the household clutter we all seem to forget exists.
